Saira and Andy were married twice, once during the Nikah and again in a ceremony at the Westin Grand in DC. Their ceremony was performed by Say “I Do” Your Way – a great, customizable option for those of you planning interfaith weddings.

The couple hired Working Brides Wedding Planner just 3 months prior to the wedding and they managed to hire the perfect vendors and pull off a fabulous event.

Having perfect weather on your wedding day and not traipsing around the city for your portrait shoot is a sin. Even if it’s snowing, go for it! The expression that a photographer can capture in a shot taken as you cross a street has no comparison to an indoor portrait.

These days with all of the options available to you, it’s entirely possible to create a beautiful event without the use of flowers. But for those of you who will be using them, get creative! Our couple worked with Beyond Imaginations to come up with some ideas we are loving!

First up, flower kissing balls. We’ve all seen them and love them, and they just don’t get old! What I really love is that the couple used them to adorn the aisle seats during the wedding ceremony, and then used the same flowers to accent the VIP tables at the reception. What a beautiful way to make a table stand out, and more importantly, a great way to maximize your floral budget!

Now here’s something I haven’t seen often, and one thing was heavily complimented by the wedding guests. Floral purses created just for the flowergirls! How adorable is this idea?! These little purses will make your favorite little girls feel like princesses.

Beyond Imaginations didn’t just stop there. They got even more creative at the reception! They really made the centerpieces pop by placing flowers around the outside of a vase. What a beautiful accent for a reception table!
