The wedding day was a heady mix of tradition and modernity. Nazia spent the hours leading up to her special night in her bridal finery, not as a shy bride-to- be, but chatting excitedly about the memories she made with Siraj. While tradition dictates that the bride and groom avoid contacting each other in the last few days leading up to the ceremony, Nazia and Siraj began the day by exchanging wedding cards.







They looked back on their time together - at the many ‘firsts’ of their lives, achieved in each other’s company. It was an emotionally fraught, tear-jerking episode that had everyone marveling at the soulful bond of friendship and love that the couple share. What came next was no less grand. The wedding ceremony was like a wonderfully orchestrated melody of fun, frolic, and fabulousness. The bride was a beautiful vision in traditional red and the groom her perfect complement in elegant gold. They enjoyed the festivities in spirited enthusiasm and made the occasion, a most memorable one, for all involved. The baraat was a lively procession and the choreographed performances, super-entertaining. The touching speeches brought many to tears while the dance floor got many to their knees.











Nazia’s attire was something out of a wedding couture magazine. The lehenga was a deep red hue with intricate golden embroidery and netted dupatta. Her jewelry was as grand as it gets, with multiple neckpieces and a statement maang-tikka. She looked like a queen from the old days of royal decadence. It’s easy to see why Siraj was unable to resist her ethereal beauty and graceful charm.
