Before diving into their reception, Monica and Shail's wedding planner, Trish Cranor
, shares some tidbits about how the couple chose their destination wedding venue!
"One of the most important pieces to planning a destination wedding is certainly heading out to the property to get a good feel for it! After the first trip out Monica, Shail and I knew this was the one! The varied rooms styles was one of the highlights for sure! Guests could choose to stay in Beachfront cottages, Spa Suites or even opt to rent Villa’s containing 4-7 rooms. These Villa’s created just the right at home feel that all Indian weddings need! They decided to get at least two Villa’s so that immediate families of both Monica and Shail could stay together! Here is where individual mendhi parties and more occurred! Both sets of families were so happy to have these large “Houses” to be able to welcome all of the International travelers."
To keep up with their love of Bollywood, Monica and Shail hired Randall Santiago of Purple Robot to design their wedding table numbers to look like Bollywood posters with the couples' faces on them- talk about one of a kind! As the wedding winded down Monica and Shail had one more unique trick up their sleeve and treated their guests to an end of the night bonfire before wrapping up their wedding festivities!
