Shalini and Tony

We are featuring the celebrity wedding of best-selling author and recognized beauty entrepreneur, Shalini Vadhera with the love of her life, Access Hollywood’s Tony Potts.

To give you an indication of how romantic this wedding was, consider that Tony proposed with 1,000 candles, flowers, champagne and dessert at the new house he bought for her!

Ok … now you’re ready to enjoy this Hollywood meets Bollywood wedding, coordinated by Dulari Amin of Imli Events and photographed by the amazing team at Lin & Jirsa Photography.

Wondering about the bride’s wedding day look? She sparkled in $100,000 of gold and diamond jewelry by Highglow Jewelers. Her beautiful ceremony lehnga is from the amazing design team at Frontier Heritage.

Here are a few shots of the bride’s gorgeous bling.

Shalini and Tony’s serene ceremony was followed by a lavish yacht reception. The decor and floral arrangements for this burgundy and gold themed reception were created by Sharmila Garg of Parties and Petals. Sharmila used two different centerpieces, crystal trees and floral balls, to achieve this look.

From Sharmila’s blog, “I decided to design the trees with crystals hanging, along with red cymbidium orchids to bring interest and much needed color to the centerpiece. The second centerpiece option was floral balls with deep red and burnt orange flowers.  We used red roses, dahlias, cockscomb, alstromeria, gerber daisies, orange dahlias, alstromeria and asiatic lilies.  Once these were set on the tall cylinders with the trim, everything came together.”

The gorgeous coconut chocolate cake was topped with a Ganesh made of chocolate, and the favors the couple chose were red velvet cookies presented in a gold organza bag.
