We have a gorgeous Fall Connecticut wedding for you from KSD Weddings. The first big event the couple threw was the Sangeet. We love the blue and gold Moroccan theme with lots of decadent fabric, pillows and hookahs.
One of the hardest decisions you will make while planning your wedding is choosing your wedding day attire. There are a myriad of choices in bridal wear but most Gujarati brides will opt for the panetar during their wedding ceremony. This outfit is usually a silk sari that is mostly white and has a red border. We love the modern blouse on this bride’s traditional sari.
Tina, of KSD Couture Weddings, took advantage of everything the beautiful property had to offer in order to deliver gorgeous portraits for Shilpa and Ron. From the tall masculine pillars at the entrance, to the romantic French doors of The Wadsworth Mansion, the locations Tina chose will ensure that the lucky couple will never forget a moment of their wedding day.
For brides on the East Coast, planning an outdoor wedding always comes with a little risk of rain. That risk is quadrupled if you dare to plan an outdoor wedding in the Fall. Our bride was up for a little gamble and lucked out with gorgeous weather for her big day!
From the bride: “Our wedding was more magical and spectacular than we imagined it could be. We loved how every detail of our wedding came together to make a warm and beautiful weekend. The colors we chose represent auspicious Hindu colors as well as quintessential fall in New England – reds, oranges, yellows, and greens. The richly colored fabrics and flowers looked stunning against the fall sky. We added pashminas for the ladies in baskets that I customized with home sewn liners and personally designed and embellished stationery. We loved looking out at everyone looking snug in the colorful pashminas.”
We love this beautiful one-of-a-kind Indian wedding cake, as well as all the other details from this reception. We’ve all seen floating candles used as centerpieces, but we love the addition of submerged flowers to tie in the reception colors.
