Nidhi & Avin

This wedding comes to us from Chicago and was submitted by Jihan Abdalla Photography.

Let’s get started with the Sangeet. This party is all about bright colors and having fun. It’s the perfect chance for the bride’s side to mingle with the groom’s side and break the ice before the big day. Nidhi and Avin were not afraid to use colors and we are loving the results!

The maroon and gold combination is so timeless and it really never gets old! There are tons of ways to personalize the color combination to match your style but still pay homage to the traditional Indian wedding colors. Nidhi looks stunning in this portrait by Jihan Abdalla and we love the special attention given to the bride’s jewelry.

The pictures you are about to see look like they came from a movie set. Strings of clear globes holding tea light candles, flanked by crystals hanging on tree branches, make this the most stylish entryway we have ever seen.

Many brides are torn between representing the traditional Indian wedding colors and going modern with brighter colors. Nidhi found the perfect compromise by choosing traditional for herself and dressing her beautiful bridesmaids in lime green saris.

The lime green and fuchsia color combination is perfect for a contemporary Indian wedding reception. The oversized centerpieces, strings of crystals, and silk and satin fabrics used in the reception must have had the guests feeling sexy and glamorous. Who needs dessert after laying your eyes on this room!

This was a hotel ballroom, but there was no sign of a round table anywhere. The space was completely filled with stunning rectangular tables.
