CT Multicultural Indian Wedding – Shilpa and Ron (2)
One of the hardest decisions you will make while planning your wedding is choosing your wedding day attire. I know, I know … I’ve used the word “hardest” to describe a lot of wedding decisions! What can I say, wedding planning can be tough!
Anyway, there are a myriad of choices in bridal wear but most Gujarati brides will opt for the panetar during their wedding ceremony. This outfit is usually a silk sari that is mostly white and has a red border. What’s amazing is that I’ve seen hundreds of brides wearing panetars, but each one is still so unique. Loving the modern blouse on this bride’s traditional sari.
