Pink and Blue Indian Wedding Bridesmaids – Purva & David I
How many of you remember the movie American Desi? I think I must have seen it a dozen times and I know I’m not alone! So imagine how excited I was when we received the wedding of Purva Bedi, the lead actress from the film! Purva has gone on to pursue a number of other roles, but I still think of her as the beautiful Nina from American Desi.
So let’s dive right in to her recent New York wedding with writer, David Stoler; photographed by Ryan Jensen Photography and coordinated by the fabulous team at savvyplanners.com™!
Purva spent the morning of her wedding being pampered as all of you will be. Lucky for her, she was surrounded by her girlfriends, all dressed to perfectly coordinate with her pink sari. Brides who want to wear their hair down but still wear a dupatta, take note!
It’s fairly common now to have your bridesmaids dressed in the same sari or suit but with different blouse styles. But this is the first time I’m seeing bridesmaids in matching suits AND saris and I love it!! What a great way to spice up your bridesmaids’ outfits!
We’ll be back with David’s baraat in just a couple hours so make sure to check back.
