Mandarin Oriental Washington D.C. Indian Reception - 4

I'm drooling over the fabulous reception of Ritu and Vikram. I am at awe at the brilliant, zen-ful "Orient Express" theme and the meticulous details that the couple included at the renowned
Mandarin Oriental. The cocktail hour included live statues sitting on pedestals and each corner of the room was decorated as a destination on the Orient Express, with the help of the decorators,
A Vista Events. The super-creative floral work was created by
Janet Flowers. The colors are warm shades of red, pinks and purples, and the roses on the cake look simple, yet classy. The colors work PERFECTLY with the bride's stunning silver gown, by
Mandira Wirk. It's definitely a nice east-meets-west idea to wear a gown that emulates a lengha but is modern enough to be a gown. Don't forget to check out Ritu's sassy hair piece!
Ritu and Vikram are literally glowing and it's hard to not have fun with this adorable couple. And of course, you cannot have a fabulous Indian wedding without a Punjabi Pop Bhangra group perform at your reception. Ritu and Vikram chose my favorite: RDB! How much more fun can it get?
A warm congratulations to our gorgeous couple, Ritu and Vikram! Wishing you a wonderful married life!
