When it comes to planning a destination wedding, the one decision that has a make-or-break impact is the location. For Indian destination weddings, there are tons of preferred locations within and outside the country – you just need to make your pick. Of late, Mexico has become a very attractive option for Indian destination weddings, and it’s not without reason.
Read on to find out why Mexico is our hot favorite for Indian Destination Weddings:
1. Beautiful Beachy Backdrop
Everyone wants their wedding locale to be extremely picturesque. After all, it’s going to be the backdrop of their wedding pictures and all social-media postage. Here’s where Mexico is gold - it has some of the most gorgeous beachfronts and indoor venues that require minimal decoration befitting any shaadi function. Resorts in Quintana Roo (Cancun area), Tulum, Playa del Carmen, Cabo, and Puerto Vallarta are extremely beautiful and especially suited to host big fat Indian Weddings. If you’re keen to tie the knot by the sea, Mexico is the place to be!

2. Money Matters
International beach wedding destinations can get very pricey. Surprisingly though, an Indian wedding in Mexico typically costs lesser than places in Miami, the Bahamas, Orange County, or even most parts of Europe. This is because many resorts in Mexico offer all-inclusive packages that include lodging and meals on a per-room rate for large bookings. This can help you save quite a pretty penny when the food and beverage requirements are quite large. If you’re enterprising and also willing to take some risks, you can bag good deals in the off-season months; the weather may be dicey but you can plan contingency measures ahead and make the whole affair even more economical.

3. Not Many Weather Woes
The best time to be in the beachy Mexican environs is from December to April. This is incidentally also the period when many Indian weddings are planned since many auspicious dates fall in the December-February months. In these months, the weather is mild, ranging between 20-26 degree Celsius. October and November are the wedding off-season months here though it is still possible to host a function in this time. You just need to account for the possibility of rain and avoid morning-time outdoor events since it can get pretty hot.

4. Wedding with Vacation Vibes
The beauty of getting married in Mexico is that it combines the pleasure of tying the knot with the excitement of a vacation. In fact, several couples often stay back or travel to a nearby (more lavish) resort for their honeymoon after their destination wedding in Mexico. Also, guests are at liberty to explore nearby attractions as well, which makes the celebration more memorable for them as well.

5. Planning Pressure? Low!
The most understated advantage of getting married in Mexico is the ease of planning. It is well-connected by air, with flights from major carriers across the world flying in/out regularly. Also, resorts in the more frequented areas are experienced in hosting large wedding. You won’t need to be worried about anything; the food, the venues, the service – it all works seamlessly since they are experienced in hosting Indian weddings.
