"Swetal (Elegance Decor) and Chandani (Events by C) worked very closely and shared countless ideas before deciding on the theme - Great Gatsby with a modern Indian twist. Once the venue, Chicago’s historical Palmer House, was chosen for the styled shoot, the ideas were narrowed down to fit the already beautiful interiors of the grand ballroom. Swetal and her team created a stunning backdrop with gold sequin fabric and white draping. A table was adorned with a beautiful white feather peacock and the other with a lush, tall centerpiece that was dripping with pearls. Though the décor did have very traditional Great Gatsby elements such as white feathers and pearls, also included were tons of gold sequin fabric and minimalist place-settings to incorporate current trends into this vintage look."

"The 3 different bridal looks on our model, Samy, were provided by Taj Sari Palace, Chicago. Each of the looks represented highly different styles of a bride that fit into the theme. The first look was an elegant, flowing red sari with a fitted long sleeve blouse paired with a gorgeous pearl set. It’s the perfect look for the bride that loves the vintage, glamour style. The next look was a deep purple lengha that just screamed royalty. This look is for the over the top bride who dresses like a queen her self, but also has her wedding venue look no less than a palace. Our third and final look was for the modern bride who wants to incorporate rich elegance into her wedding, but in the simplest and most graceful way possible."
