If you believe that matches are made in Heaven, Navya and Navin’s union will strengthen your faith. Their lovely romantic journey culminated in marriage in August 2017 at Columbus, Ohio. Navya and Navin, though family friends since childhood, became each other’s SO after 20 years of no contact. They grew up together in Chicago but cupid shot it’s arrow a few decades down the lane when they met at a party in New York City. And they rest? It’s not history but a dreamy tale of blossoming love.
The happy couple tied the proverbial knot in a traditional Telugu wedding ceremony. They celebrated their union with a three-day-long bonanza of merriment; a Sangeet ceremony, the wedding party, and a traditional western Reception.
All the wedding shenanigans, planned by Nidhi Bedi-Bambino, were captured on film by the Style and Story Creative Studio. The wedding attires came from India’s finest ethnic boutiques, as did the gorgeous jewelry. The artful makeup and hair were done by Yodit Tecle and Samantha Burwick. You see, it takes a whole team of skilled professionals to have the perfect wedding!
And in the middle of all the marital mania, they found a bliss moment of cute, romantic revelry. Both Navin and Navya share an undying love for ice-cream. So right after the wedding ceremony, the groom and his trusty team of photographers took her on a surprise visit to their favorite ice-cream parlor called Jeni’s (Columbus, Ohio). Isn’t that great?
