It comes as no surprise that Isha Ambani’s hush-hush engagement, to her long-time friend Anand Piramal, was a fairytale affair of unparalleled perfection. Yesterday came out the news of Mukesh and Nita Ambani's daughter's engagement and the pictures do paint a vivid picture of almost-wedded bliss.
As per well-informed conjecture, Isha and Anand exchanged rings at a picturesque lakeside venue at Lake Como in northern Italy. With majestic mountains in the background, a stunning pool of water before them, and much love and merriment in the air, the happy couple surely celebrated their engagement in the dreamiest way possible!
A video trending on social media shows Mukesh Ambani standing with a wonderfully decked-up Isha Ambani, framed by an elegant balcony façade. Another video shows Mukesh Ambani escorting his daughter to her now fiancé Anand Piramal, with his other children in tow, and Neeta Ambani cheering from the lakeside. The couple exchanged rings at the lakeside with a fountain show in the background, flowers showing in them, and soft opera music to match. The videos available online probably do not do justice to the beauty of the ceremony but a captivatingly gorgeous nonetheless.
If a picture is worth a thousand words, it is safe to say that the Isha-Anand engagement was a star-studded event. Photos of Bollywood celebrities such as Priyanka Chopra, Sonam Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, Manish Malhotra, and Nick Jonas have surfaced online, suggesting that they were in attendance. Bollywood A-listers such as Aamir Khan, Karan Johar, Anil Kapoor and others were also present. None of the stars have revealed anything about the event though Juhi Chawla’s photo captioned “Merrymaking at a special event held at charming Italy's; seems to be rather telling.
