If you love white,
Anita Dongre's collection was for you. But for those of you looking for bold colors,
Preeti S. Kapoor definitely delivered at
Lakme Fashion Week. Her collection made use of traditional embroidery and elegant fabrics. These pieces can carry you from your Mehendi Party through your Reception!

"Using the ancient Jamawar embroidery, the designer presented a great formal elegant wear offering with lavish doses of ethnic touches. Adding on rich fabrics like silk, net, velvet, satin and Chanderi, Preeti moved to centre stage with bold large paisleys for embroidery. To match the regal nature of the creations, Preeti kept the colours rich with ink blue, grey, purple, brown and added heavy tones of mustard, red and maroon. The silhouettes were pure traditional as long luxurious Anarkali kurtas floated down the ramp. Saris were teamed with intricate cholis while the lehengas and shararas dazzled under the arc lights."Source:
