This week we are taking a break from our regularly scheduled programming here at
IndianWeddingSite.com in celebration of a huge milestone, hitting 10,000
Facebook fans and counting! Did you miss our big week-long giveaway announcement this morning? Get all the details here and enter to win your favorite prize!
We are so beyond excited that we thought it would be fun to highlight some of our favorite aspects of an Indian wedding, and take a little look down memory lane of some of our past Indian wedding favorites.
To kick off our celebration week we wanted to start with any Indian bride's favorite accessory, her
mehndi! Mehendi is one of the earliest traditions in South Asian wedding ceremonies, and often represents the bond of matrimony, joining of two families, and fertility. Although the mehndi design itself can vary, one thing that remains constant is the belief that the darker the mehndi, the more auspicious it is!
Picking a mehndi design for a bride can often be an overwhelming task. There are so many different details and designs to choose from, that it is extremely easy to get confused! This is where IndianWeddingSite.com comes in to serve up some inspiration!
Take a peak below for some of our most memorable mehndi designs!

Our celebration continues tomorrow with a look back at our
Tuesday guilty pleasure, shoes!
