For our first real wedding of 2014 we are featuring the beautiful nuptials of Sheetal and Gautam shot by one of our very own
Featured Vendors,
Mark Romine Photography. Sheetal and Gautam were married at the gorgeous
Westin Chicago Northwest in an intimate Hindu ceremony. The bride wore an intricate gold beaded red and white lengha with detailed mehndi on her hands and feet. The groom was outfitted in a matching beige and red achkin with similar gold detailing as his bride. I particularly love the shot
Mark Romine Photography got of Sheetal peaking out from behind her palki - flawless!

From the bride:
We had a large traditional Hindu wedding so I wanted to include decorations that would create an intimate feel. Our ceremony was in the tented pavilion at the Westin and we incorporated a lot of candles around the traditional round mandap and down the aisle. For our reception, we included a wall of candles behind the head table and used amber uplighting to create the illusion that the grand ballroom was lit up by candlelight.

Thank you so much to our
Featured vendor, Mark Romine Photography for submitting this amazing wedding, and congratulations to the newlyweds!
