Hi readers! Prepare to be dazzled because we're featuring a mesmerizing décor filled destination Indian wedding reception by
Qiu Photography. Set in
Toronto, Canada, Fatema and Mustansir planned their destination wedding from afar with the bride-to-be living in
Washington D.C. and the groom-to-be residing in
San Francisco, California. Although stressful, their hard work definitely paid off!
Qiu Photography did such a great job with capturing the details of this wedding. I'm in love with the staging at this reception. The navy blue backdrop pops perfectly with the chandelier, fabric draping and dazzling lights and crystals. I of course cannot forget to also mention their perfectly quilted cake with pearl accents- so elegant!
Check out our
photo gallery for all of the images from today's wedding and stay tuned as the bride shares her first hand wedding planning experience!

Planning the whole wedding was the most intense and enjoyable experience of our lives. Since Mustansir (the groom) lives in San Francisco and Fatema (the bride) lived in Washington, D.C., planning a wedding in Toronto required a lot of long distance phone calls negotiating prices with vendors, long hours on Skype arguing over the menu and table placements, and a lot of trust in each other’s’ abilities. In a sense, organizing and combing over each and every detail of the various ceremonies we had, taught us a lot about each other and brought us closer as a couple. The months of stress, sleepless nights leading up to the wedding, and various moments filled with anxiety, washed away when we entered the beautiful reception venue and saw the look of happiness, warmth, and love in the eyes of our family and friends. From the moment that we were greeted by loved ones who had flown from far away to be with us, till we dragged our tired feet off the dance floor way past midnight, this remains the happiest day of our lives.

Thank you to
Qiu Photography for this beautiful submission and congratulations to the newlyweds!
